Azdean Elmoustaquim, Host
Azdean was born and raised in the imperial city of Marrakech, Morocco. His family hails from the small village of Telouet, on the outskirts of Ouarzazate. After finishing school, Azdean moved to the United States in 1995, settling in Houston.
After a few years, Azdean and his wife Khadija Elomari took their joy for Morocco and their passion for sharing their homeland and started the Destination Morocco tour company. They love creating customized travel itineraries to give you the Moroccan experience you're looking for.

The Destination Morocco Podcast
In early 2022, we launched our Destination Morocco Podcast, to inspire travellers curious about where to go, what to do, cultural history, practical advice, and stories from those who have been there themselves: our clients.
Since then, thousands of listeners have enjoyed learning about Morocco and have started building their own bucket list of things to do and activities to experience.
In the Summer of 2023, Azdean (who grew up in Morocco but has spent nearly 30 years living in the United States) returned to his native land for the first time post-covid, armed with recording equipment and a team of producers, to capture real, authentic on-location footage.
These new episodes give you even more sample and flavor of the real Morocco, featuring Moroccans in their homes, patios and dining rooms, sharing the stories of the lives, their business, their region and their families. Close your eyes and imagine the sights, the scents, the soft breeze, the birds in the olive grove, a gentle creek trickling through the dry hills...
It's an amazing, immersive audio experience that takes you a step closer to being in Morocco yourself.

Ted Cragg, Producer
Ted has been podcasting since 2017 as a host and producer, primarily of travel-themed podcasts. With Destination Morocco, he helps develop content and strategic planning, edits and produces each episode (including the video episodes) and makes occasional appearances as well!
In his background in travel & tourism, Ted has worked as a tour guide and tour director across Canada and the United States, and as a historic site manager/interpreter for Parks Canada. He is also well-travelled himself, visiting 28 countries around the world.
