1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Destinations Morocco. As a reputable tour operator, we specialize in providing premium, luxury, and adventure travel experiences throughout Morocco. Our team is dedicated to curating one-of-a-kind trips, taking care of all travel arrangements from start to finish to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
We understand that every traveler is unique. Therefore, we promise to listen to your specific desires, hopes, and dreams in order to help turn them into a reality.
By requesting a consultation, paying the planning fee, or making a booking with us, you (the "Client") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you guarantee that you have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of all persons named in the booking.
2. Services Provided
Destinations Morocco acts as a tour operator and travel arranger. We contract with a network of trusted suppliers, including hotels, transportation companies, drivers, certified local guides, and activity providers, to deliver the components of your vacation. Our team is committed to providing personalized service, including access to a manager on duty and a local travel advocate with decades of experience to assist with any questions or concerns before, during, and after your trip.
3. Planning Fee & Consultations
To begin the process of creating your personalized itinerary, we offer a complimentary consultation to understand your travel vision and ensure we are a good fit for your plans.
Should you wish to proceed with our planning services, a non-refundable and non-transferable planning fee is required:
- Groups of up to 7 people: $175.00 USD per person.
- Groups of 8 or more people: $250.00 USD per person.
This fee compensates our team for the time, research, and expertise required to build your custom itinerary. It is not an additional cost; it will be applied as a credit toward the total cost of your trip should you choose to book with us. If you decide not to proceed with the booking or choose to book with another agency, this fee is retained by Destinations Morocco as compensation for services rendered.
4. Payments & Deposits
- Deposit:
- For private tours and FIT’s: Upon your approval of the final itinerary, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure all reservations, including hotels, guides, and transportation.
- For group tours: Upon your approval of the final itinerary, a deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required to secure all reservations, including hotels, guides, and transportation.
- Final Payment:
- Private Tours & FITs (Free Independent Travelers): The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the start date of your tour.
- Group Tours: The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the start date of your tour.
- Late Payment: If the balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the client, and the cancellation policy below will apply.
5. Itinerary Modifications
We want your itinerary to be perfect.
- Draft Stage: After payment of the planning fee, we will present a draft itinerary. You may request up to three (3) modifications at no additional cost.
- Subsequent Changes During Planning: Further changes requested during the planning stage will incur a $75.00 administrative fee to cover re-booking and coordination time, plus any applicable fees charged by suppliers (such as hotels for changing dates).
- Changes Within 30 Days of Travel: Changes requested within 30 days of departure will be treated as cancellation and rebooking where possible and will be subject to supplier availability and fees.
- Operational Changes: While we strive to operate all tours as described, Destinations Morocco reserves the right to substitute hotels, alter routes, or modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, local events, supplier issues). We will always endeavor to provide alternatives of equal or greater standard.
6. Cancellation by Client
Cancellations must be received in writing via email. The date of cancellation is the date the written request is received. Cancellation fees are assessed as a percentage of the total tour cost (including the deposit) as follows:

Note on Supplier Fees: Airline tickets, train tickets, special event tickets, and certain "non-refundable" hotel bookings may be subject to 100% cancellation charges immediately upon booking, regardless of this timeline. These charges are set by the suppliers and will be passed on to the client. In such cases, the refund will reflect the recoverable amount from the supplier, minus our non-refundable planning fee.
7. Cancellation or Changes by Destinations Morocco
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a tour due to low enrollment (for scheduled group tours) or logistical reasons, our liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential damages you may incur as a result of the cancellation, such as visa fees, non-refundable flights, or lost vacation time.
8. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund has been initiated and approved, we will process the credit back to your original method of payment. Destinations Morocco processes refunds within 15 business days of receiving the funds back from our suppliers. Please allow additional time for the credit to appear in your account depending on the processing speed of your financial institution.
9. Client Responsibilities & Assumption of Risk
Travel, particularly adventure travel, involves inherent risks.
- Documentation: You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date) and any required visas.
- Health & Safety: You must advise us of any medical conditions, pregnancy, or dietary requirements prior to booking. You are responsible for consulting your physician regarding recommended vaccinations and your fitness for the activities planned.
- Assumption of Risk: By booking with Destinations Morocco, you acknowledge that travel involves risks including, but not limited to, illness, injury, theft, terrorism, weather, and mechanical failures. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for such risks.
10. Limitation of Liability
Destinations Morocco acts as an intermediary for suppliers (hotels, transportation companies, drivers, guides, activity providers). We select these partners carefully, but we do not own, operate, or control them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Destinations Morocco disclaims any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, inconvenience, or expense arising from:
- The acts or omissions of any independent supplier.
- Any breach of contract or negligence of any third party.
- Any circumstances amounting to Force Majeure (see Clause 11).
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the tour in question.11. Force Majeure"Force Majeure" means any event beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, civil unrest, strikes, natural disasters, government restrictions, or any other cause beyond our control.Destinations Morocco shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these terms due to Force Majeure. If a Force Majeure event occurs, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, offer alternative dates, or provide credit where possible. No refunds will be given for costs incurred by Destinations Morocco that cannot be recovered from suppliers.12. Travel InsuranceWe strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of deposit. Insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and baggage loss. Destinations Morocco requires that you have valid travel insurance in effect prior to travel.13. ComplaintsIf you experience an issue during your trip, it is imperative that you immediately notify your local representative, driver, or our 24/7 emergency line so that we have the opportunity to resolve the matter in real-time. Our team of destination experts is available to assist with any issues that may arise during your trip. If you fail to notify us during the tour, we cannot reasonably investigate or rectify the issue, and your right to claim a refund may be affected.14. PrivacyDestinations Morocco respects your privacy. We collect personal information to provide travel services and may share it with our suppliers for booking purposes. We do not sell your data.
